I had a set on my 77 firebird. I believe you can get a 295/45-16 on a ZQ8 rim.On stock 20x8 wheels the widest tires should be 265. For a 275 or 285 tire to wear and perform properly, it needs at least a 9 inch wide wheel. I know like anything, people have done it, but it does'nt mean it's safe, especially with such a heavy truck.
