You are looking at about $1000 for head work, new headbolts (must buy new) new factory gaskets, new knock sensor and KS wire (another must buy), along w/a new timing belt, water pump, and valve adjustment.Any of those mistakes can kill your gaskets. If you really want to improve matters with the 3vze, install headers, a high flow cat, and a 2 1/4" cat-back system with a high flow muffler. Open up the intake side with an ISR mod (intake silencer removal - search for info on yotatech).The head bolts are torque to yield you shouldn't reuse them. And don't lose the washers they dont come with most new head bolts. Careful drilling them out they are hardened steel bolts and can mess up your bits start small. Drilling the head bolts makes it a pain to get the head off.
