Stay away. There are no raises like even after months of asking, work environment is decent at best. Management is never on your side. You will get overworked and stay underpaid and it doesn't change. They will use you for as long as you let them. If you're still there look for something better. They will also compare you to your co workers so if you do not work as fast as they do they will count that against you. Overall its not worth it. $14.50 is not worth your time!

It's been well over a month and my background still hasn't come back I really don't understand my background never ever took more then 3 weeks with any other job and I've worked for the government this is ridiculous and these jobs that's use this company should saty away if you want your employees to be hired on a set date. It's going on 2 months

Universal Background Screening is the worst B2B service I've ever used. Not the worst background check service, but the worst B2B service. Our company hired Universal Background to screen our new hires. The salesperson knew very little about what she was selling to us and, consequently, Universal failed to meet our expectations for the service. We were asked over and over to submit the same documentation--the company lost our submittal paperwork several times, wasting our team's time, and the time we had to meet the deadline. Universal then failed to meet our deadline, and even 3 weeks after our new hire started, was unable to complete the background check. Then they had the audacity to send us an invoice for the services they failed to deliver. There are lots of competent background check services available--don't waste your time with an incompetent one like Universal Background Screening.

We got a call from this company for a background check on a former employee. The caller could not be understood over the phone. I understand that not all people speak perfect English, but it was impossible to understand the caller. Not a good business model.

If you plan on going back to high school this is the place for you, nothing but drama & gossiping all day, everyday the only people who were professional & nice was HR. Team leads were petty & always gossiping, the supervisor for verifications SUSAN, she walks around mean muggin everyone all day like she hates her life & dont get caught telling your co-workers “hi” by susan cause she will assign you more work she literally sends emails all day complaining about everything lol this place is just a joke, you will be stressed soon as you hit the door because they micromanage like crazy. Today i turned in my badge and quit, my blood pressure has been so high dealing with this job im not going to kill myself over $12 an hour. I felt free walking out of there, i stayed for 4 months. Lets just say im Proud of myself for staying that long. I would not invest myself into a company like this ever again...do youself a favor & run..i will truly miss the verifications team & the applicant contact team stay solid, i love yall.
