Set in a beautiful part of the peak district at the bottom of the valley, lovely surrounds. With magnificent views where ever you look, quiet and calming. The river runs at the bottom over the little bridge with quaint stone built cottages. A very tranquil area with lush green pastures and very large playing area at the side of the bowling club. Really beautiful setting wherever you look, would definitely visit again when in the area.

A nice village with a quaint cricket ground at it's centre. Two reservoirs to walk round and a couple of pubs. Busy at weekends.

Excellent Saturday afternoon watching cricket. It was very much helped by fantastic weather (burnt my knees). Very friendly and welcoming club. Some nice beers available from a well presented bar. Big thanks to Bradfield Brewery who are one of the sponsors of the club. Disappointed that the second eleven lost but a spirited performance nonetheless. One of the chaps got injured during play and I trust he is okay. There was a female player on the Bradfield team, which is nice to see. Unfortunately, I had to leave before the end and do not know how many runs she ended up getting (was on thirty plus, I think). If you fancy a nice day out and a picnic or just chill, you could do worse than taking a trip to the ground. It is a lovely setting and there is a car park but be early to make sure of a space.

How fortunate to live in this beautiful village. Every Saturday we go there to watch the local cricket and sample a few local beers too. The setting is picturesque. What more could you ask for!
