My '03 Z71 Tahoe (150K) has been exhibiting the same symptoms to a "T". I have checked the neutral safety switch - it is not that. The cam sensor especially and it is located on top rear of engine where critters like to harbor. Reprogramming is not hard, but takes at least a half an hour. Check that and if you need it, I would post the reprogramming method.Oct 23, 2020 · Yea, the ignition control module is a known weak spot and you can also have problems with the old distributor cap and rotor, especially with getting moisture in there.
