A church is amazing...but, making path from old tombstones...sorry. For me it was disrespect of death.

Although I live a long way away, I have a strong connection with St.Mary's as the ashes of both parents are buried together here in a quiet sunny corner of the grounds. My visits are not as often as perhaps they ought to be but each one includes stepping into the wonderful old church itself. This is most probably the only place where I've managed to find true peace as there is something quite unique and almost magical about St.Mary's. Nowhere else has a building such as this almost felt as though it was wrapping its arms around me and saying "Come on in and sit for a while. Clear your head of all that's on your mind and just soak up the tranquil atmosphere". I most strongly suggest that if you get the chance, you might do precisely the same.

The Church room here is available for hire and makes a great village centre location. Half underground, it has an 'eco' feel. Parking is on nearby Chiddingfold Green, a few minutes walk away. Or cycle, plenty of room to park cycles by the entrance.

Distinct old Church ideally located on the main road and perfect setting for the small village. At the rear of the Church is a large graveyard as well as a Church Hall.
