Haven't been fishing as much as I'd like but did get out a couple of weekends ago. Fished a King tournament and went 170 miles and used 150 gal. It was 3-5' SW winds straight in the face 70 miles south. Ran her pretty hard to get to our spot. Averaged 40mph at 5400 which was about 1mpg. The buyer seems to have been already stretched by the purchase price. If he can't/won't pay $2K/year for insurance, how was he going to pay for fuel for the boat. I believe it is too wide for its low weight and is improperly balanced. In seas over 3 feet it feels very unstable and a tower makes it rock like Elvis' pelvis.
