Wow - what a fantastic place with extremely friendly and professional staff overseeing it. From the minute we walked in we were treated as Royalty. The tour was interesting and mesmerising. I’d recommend this free of charge experience to anyone and of all ages. A BIG thank you to Peter H and his team. We’d love to return again soon. Peter and Judith Rigby.

A fantastic museum run by volunteers who give you so much information on how police forces were formed to current laws on knife crime. Very valuable experience and a wonderful building as the Victorian cells (one of which is still an example of how cells were, which should and do intimidate) are now used as display areas. Highly recommended for adults and children.

Me and my 8yr son had a great time visiting this museum. Very interesting place and amazing staff, everybody was so involved in explaining lots of things to us. One of the best things I really appreciated was that we had a guided tour. We've been told lovely stories about the police history and my son enjoyed dressing up and 'driving' a real police car. Many thanks to Alan, Peter and all lovely volunteers that made this happened.
