Me and my partner were buying our first house, all new to us. Went to Dereham branch and met a lovely seeming lady who would be dealing with our purchase and said she would walk us through everything to have an email from her only a week later after we had filled in a lot of paperwork to be told we were being transferred to her close colleague. Ended up being a helpless lady who wouldn’t even answer our emails or calls and then would call up sick. Didn’t help she was in Chatteris quite away from us so it wasn’t like we could just pop in and see her. Really wasn’t impressed with her work if you can even call it that. Wasted our time and the sellers on numerous occasions and made us have to miss days from work to run around sorting stuff we were paying her to sort. If you’re doing any legal matters please don’t use these guys. They will just drag it out and mess around not getting it done. We almost lost our house because of her, then they had the cheek to miss some money of our bill and demand it a few weeks back saying they will charge more if I don’t pay when it wasn’t even my mistake.

WGA were the solicitors used by our vendor in a chain of three, and every delay we had was caused by this company. It was a straight forward sale, with no onward purchase for our vendor and the process took from the middle of February 2019 to the end of May 2019. Of course, as we weren't their clients, there was absolutely nothing we could do to influence the progress and the stress the delays caused us and our buyers was unacceptable. It felt as WGA had not heard of the phrase Customer Service and had no consideration for the people paying the bills.
