what would be the best carb for a 22r with 261crawler cam, header. I was thinking the 32/36 weber or 38 weber but some say there junk for offroad and some say there perfect. and my 3.0 gave out and im tired of the 4.3 so im puttin in the 22r and i was wandering if i can just plug the 22r coil wire straight into the 3.0 coil or do i need to use the 4cyl coilThe Weber helps the performance of 20R engine some, but not the 22R according to the Toyota Pickup Owners Bible book. The 22r aisan is a lot more CFM than the 20r Aisan and even more CFM than the Weber 32/36. I once tried a 20r carb on my 20r/22r Hybrid with the vac and air fuel guage and it was way to lean and choked down for that engine. «The carb. must be removed from the manifold and a small slotted set screw is accessable from the bottom.
