I had an expensive mountain bike stollen outside Waitrose Cringleford about 2 wees ago . The thief was caught on camera walking through the store and taking the bike with, as they say clear picture of his face . So they know what he looks like but can't find him on the police database, so they say they have no name and can't continue to investigate ie given up. I'm not even allowed the pictures to post on social media to try and identify the thief myself. How useless is that. I have no rights but the thief does

As per the other comment , I have also tried to enlist the help of the Norfolk PCC to do what they say they do on the tin , namely hold the police to account and support victims. It has been like pulling teeth and I am now being fobbed off with excuses about communications being lost between departments. This organisation sinks millions of Norfolk tax payers money but what comes out is wholly unsatisfactory. I am left wondering how an organisation that is supposed to hold the Police to account does so when they both share the same address and work from the same building in Wymondham . Coffee breaks must be extremely awkward at times or extremely cosy. Just wondering if there are any more people who share the same experience .

I have witnessed a public order offence on my way home of a group of drunken men with a large fire next to the nuns bridges in thetford. I have phoned 101 and asked why I was ringing them and they would put me through to the Services, I was put on hold and waited 12mins at the same time my wife was trying to email the same problem, I gave up waiting and rang 101 again, I explained to the operator that I had been waiting for 12 mins, she said the waiting time is now 20 mins and she was only a operator who put calls through to the different services, she said the wait time is now 25 mins. I have given up, my wife also gave up trying to report via email too many questions and details required.

Tried to enlist the support of the PCC regarding a prolific and ongoing internet scammer that Norfolk Constabulary are not interested in pursuing despite said individual receiving a 12 month suspended prison sentence for fraud. It appears that the office of the PCC are not interested either. Why do we pay for a PCC ?
